FREE Wi-Fi SIMs you can collect at the Tokyo Airport

Did you know that one of the biggest telephone companies in Japan -"docomo" launched the Free SIM service for all of you foreigners. 

At this moment, it is free up to 100 MB.

But the truth is, the above plan is not the best way to utilize this docomo cheap SIM card. 

In fact, there are several companies launched services to foreign visitors while providing "FREE 500 MB" SIM card plan. 

Here are the list of two companies I have discovered so far. 

1) WAmazing: https://apps.wamazing.jp/ (500 MB up to 7 days)

Target countries: Hong Kong, Taiwan 

At this moment, WAmazing only provides FREE SIM card to countries above. 

But the steps to get the free sim card is easier than the one below. 

There are ATM machine in Narita airport, so you can simply collect your SIM at the airport. All you have to do is to download the App provided by them. 

According to some reports, the service and the app they provide arent bad. 

At least all you have to do is "download the app" and "collect at Narita airport". 

2) trip-free http://trip-free.com/service (500 MB up to 7 days)

Target countries: All 

It seems to provide to all countries as long as you sign up. Not only that, this service sends the SIM to either "airport", "hotel", or "other addresses"(perhaps your friends' house). 

However, during the sign up process, you are required to put many confidential information. That could be a bottle neck for some of you (If you were desperate to seek for SIM card, you probably want to use more than 500 MB). 

Lastly, 500 MB is for those who only use SNS and a little bit to search on website. If you are usually using your SP regularly, and if you are intending to use your SP as you use at home, then 500 MB could be too small.
