Beach

By the time I realize, I was walking for an hour and reached double six beach. Beach on this side isn't for swimming, as the wave regularly goes up to 3 meters or more. But it's great to lay on soft sand and listen to the waves. Sometimes you can try and go get hit by waves. I barely go to the surfing beach, so it was a rare experience being hit by strong waves. Anyway, this side of Bali is famous for sunset, so I'll come back and sit in the sunset afterwards.

This picture is the best spot I thought among all sections of beaches. Somehow I am fascinated by the ground (whether it is ocean or the sand beach) reflecting sky.

Shopping like Local

I walked up to the Bintang Supermarket. This is where locals go, so prices are cheaper than the average. They sell local grocery as well as cheaper souvenirs. I purchased a lavender oil for myself and Sprite for 50 cents. Also bought locally packaged nuts which turned out not so tasty..

Around the supermarket, there are several stores sell clothes. I tried to negotiate the initial price of IDR 100,000, and bargained at IDR20,000 ($2). Don't know if it's cheap, but since a bunch of sellers shouting for "morning price!" I assume morning is cheaper, thus I got it cheaper. So many nice cafes are also around here.

Seminyack

Arrived Seminyack Square using Kura Kura Bus (cheap local bus going around areas in Kuta). One thing I wanted to try was Cocona 's coconut oil. It's extra vergin coconut oil, edible as well as skincare. After I came back, tried on coffee. So yummy, sweet scent was so natural. Seminyack seems to provide a lot of western goods and foods. The bakery and coffee seemed to be mostly French styles. Coffee shops seemed to be more of Australian (Flat White..).

Dinner

At Warung Indnesia, avocado juice at IDR 15,000 ($1.5) was amazing. Ice was well shredded and melted in my mouth.

Here is the link to check out pictures I took during the trip in Kuta.

Massage

At last, I got a massage from Natural Spa. Got one hour Balinese massage. It was amazing for only IDR 90,000 ($9), def worth more than that. Until now, I thought the blind massage I got in KL was the best, for its cost performance and ability to get to the point. So many other massages exist, and better check Trip Advisor before taking one, as there seem to be so many shops providing a bad quality. By the way, the NO1 place in Trip Advisor, better reserve especially for the weekend. I did go there without reserving, so I couldnt get a treatment.

TravelPlan.World

Blogs mainly about Japan and its information to travel. Sometimes about my trip to overseas.
